A. Acupuncture as applied to chiropractic is stimulation of a certain meridian point or points on or near the surface of the body to control and regulate the flow and balance of energy of the body. B. Acupuncture includes acupuncture by needle, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, acupressure, laser, auricular therapy, or any implement that stimulates acupuncture points. C. Acupuncture does not include cupping, moxibustion, or cosmetic therapy.
