The following definitions shall apply in to Article 2: Arizona Administrative Code 6 A.A.C. 11 TITLE 6. ECONOMIC SECURITY CHAPTER 11. DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC SECURITY - WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT (WIOA) 1. “Appeals Hearing” means a formal administrative proceeding held by a Hearing Officer to hear an Appeal. 2. “Hearing Officer” means an impartial individual, including an Administrative Law Judge or other designee of the Director, who conducts an Appeals Hearing.
