R6-2-103. Policy of Nondiscrimination; Schedule of Services

The Department shall: 1. Not discriminate against any Job Seeker or Employer in compliance with federal and state nondiscrimination laws; 2. Promote an employment opportunity for an Individual With a Barrier to Employment and encourage an Employer to hire a Job Seeker on the basis of objective qualifications; and 3. Select and refer a Job Seeker for work according to the following priority: a. Special Disabled Veteran Job Seeker; b. Veteran of the Vietnam Era Job Seeker; c. A Disabled Veteran other than a Special Disabled Veteran Job Seeker; d. Any other Veteran and Eligible Person; and e. Any other Job Seeker.
