R9-13-116. Trainer Certificate of Completion Renewal

A. A training certificate of completion may be renewed by attending and completing a Department-approved refresher training course, either offered directly by the Department or by a trainer authorized under this Article, during the fifth year of certification from the date the preceding certificate was issued. Once a refresher training course is successfully completed, the five-year cycle begins again. If certification is not renewed within the required time period, the individual must attend the basic certification training course (i.e., a refresher course will not be sufficient). B. A trainer shall submit the following to the Department, in a Department-provided format, at least 60 calendar days before the expiration date of the trainer’s certificate of completion, Table 13.1 Hearing Screening Population A. Students Included in the Hearing Screening Population 1. All grades, including preschool and kindergarten which includes the trainer’s name, address, email address, and telephone number; C. Within 30 calendar days from the date a trainer submits a renewal certificate of completion, the Department shall issue the trainer a certificate of completion.
