R10-3-401. Definitions

The following terms used in this Article or in the materials incorporated by reference in this Article have the following meaning: 1. “2010 Standards” means for: a. Public entities, appendices B and D to 36 CFR 1191 (2009) and 28 CFR 35.151 (2011). b. Places of public accommodation and commercial facilities, appendices B and D to 36 CFR 1191 (2009) and 28 CFR 36.401 through 36.406 (2011). 2. “Act” or “the Act” means the “Arizonans with Disabilities Act” or “AzDA,” A.R.S. § 41-1492 et seq. 3. “Assistant Attorney General” means the “Arizona Assistant Attorney General.” 4. “Attorney General” means the “Arizona Attorney General.” 5. “National” means “State of Arizona.” 6. “Respondent” means a person, public entity, commercial facility, or public accommodation against whom a complaint has been filed alleging a violation of the Arizonans with Disabilities Act.
