gas diluting device Underground diesel-powered equipment shall be equipped with a stainless steel exhaust system including conditioner and satisfactory diluting device, which will reduce toxic gases to a minimum before they are released into the mine atmosphere. (Except if limestone and water are used, scrubbers may be carbon steel.)
