Cal. INS § 1698

The military service certificate of convenience referred to in Section 1697 expires at one of the following times, whichever occurs first: (a) Upon the qualification of a natural person to be named on the permanent license of the organization; or (b) Six months after the issuance of the certificate of convenience.
