42-7-505. Forging ability to respond in damages. Any person who forges or without authority signs any evidence of ability to respond in damages or who furnishes the director with a false statement evidencing that such person is insured under an automobile liability policy or bond, as required by the director in the administration of this article 7, commits a class 2 misdemeanor.
