[LOGO] STATE OF CONNECTICUT INSURANCE DEPARTMENT Bulletin PF-7 ## ACCIDENTAL DEATH BENEFIT POLICIES AND RIDERS August 16, 1974 Effective immediately, this Department will accept forms providing accidental death benefit coverage that contain an exclusion regarding the use of drugs that is worded as follows: No indemnity will be paid for loss caused by the voluntary use of any controlled substance as defined in Title II of the Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act of 1970, as now or hereafter amended, unless as prescribed by his physician for the insured.
