Selection of Connecticut nursing scholarship recipients (Repealed)

In selecting recipients, the institution shall: (a) consider affirmative action and equal opportunity goals; (b) assure that the student is enrolled or accepted for enrollment and is a Connecticut resident; (c) determine that a student applying for a renewal award had been making satisfactory progress; (d) calculate student financial need using a consistent and generally accepted needs analysis methodology with awards not to exceed student financial need. Grants may be applied against justifiable education expenses including tuition, fees, room, board, transportation, books and child care.
