(a) Active duty for training in the national guard of the various reserve components of the armed forces shall not be counted for purposes of active duty service; (b) A copy of the veteran's certificate of separation from active duty (DD214), or, as amended by a correction to the certificate of separation from active duty (DD215) is sufficient proof of veteran's military service.
