Definitions

For the purpose of sections 20-576-1 through 20-576-53 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated: (a) "Commission" means the Commission of Pharmacy; (b) "Department" means the Department of Consumer Protection; (c) "Legend drug" has the meaning given to this term by Section 20-571 of the General Statutes; (d) "Prescribing practitioner" has the meaning given to this term by Section 20-571 of the General Statutes; and (e) "Prescription department" means that area within a pharmacy where drugs are compounded and dispensed pursuant to the order of a prescribing practitioner.
