concern A species shall be considered for listing as an endangered species, threatened species, or a species of special concern if: (1) It is a wild mammal, bird, amphibian, reptile, fish, plant or invertebrate; (2) Individuals of such species reside, or, for species of special concern, have resided in the past, in Connecticut for a portion of their life cycle; and (3) It is an endangered species, threatened species, or species of special concern as those terms are defined by section 26-304 of the General Statutes.
