Locker inspections (Repealed)

(a) Individual lockers with locks shall be provided to individuals in the Residential
Facility.
(1) Private locks may be used provided a spare key or combination number has been provided
to the Wing Monitor. The Wing Monitor shall keep the key or combination in a secure
manner as directed by the Director of the Residential Facility.
(2) Lockers shall be neat and clean and free of all food, unless kept in air-tight metal
or plastic containers. No perishable items shall be kept. Lockers may not be used
to store contraband, weapons, alcohol, inherently dangerous or flammable material,
or any other items prohibited on the grounds of the Veterans' Home.
(b) Regular, announced inspections shall be held by the Veterans' Home Director of the
Residential Facility or his designee on a rotating schedule.
(c) Unannounced inspections may be held by the Director of the Residential Facility, the
Health Care Facility Administrator, Security, or medical staff when a violation of
the rules and regulations is suspected.
(d) The veteran may be present during such an inspection, if possible.
