The principal duties of the bureau of information systems and data processing are
the provision of a central source of planning, coordination and administration in
the fields of computer-based information systems, systems development and programming,
data processing and computing, data communications, and management science techniques.
There is a deputy commissioner who has charge of the bureau of information systems
and data processing.
