General powers and responsibilities (Repealed)

The head of the Department is the Commissioner of Public Works as established by section
4-5 of the General Statutes of Connecticut. The general qualifications, powers, and
duties of the Commissioner as a Department head are as provided by section 4-8 of
the General Statutes. The duties of the Commissioner of Public Works are as provided
by section 4b-1 of the General Statutes.
