(a) Method of request. Agency exemption requests shall be made in accordance with section 54-240i of the Connecticut General Statutes. (b) Notice of exemption. The Secretary of the State shall send notification, as provided in section 54-240i of the Connecticut General Statutes, to the participant's confidential address, by first class mail, prior to granting an exemption.
