Purchase of a decent, safe, and sanitary dwelling

A displaced tenant or homeowner "purchases" a dwelling within the meaning of this subpart when he — (a) Acquires an existing dwelling; (b) Rehabilitates a substandard dwelling which he owns or acquires; (c) Relocates a dwelling which he owns or acquires; (d) Relocates and rehabilitates a substandard dwelling which he owns or acquires; (f) Contracts to purchase a dwelling on a site provided by a builder; or (g) Contracts for the construction of a dwelling on a site provided by a builder or on a site which he owns or acquires.
