R.C.S.A. § 14-137-110
Definitions

As used in Sections 14-137-110 to 14-137-111, inclusive, the following words and phrases
shall have the following meanings:
(1) "Bailee" means a bailee for hire of a motor vehicle;
(2) "Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles or his designee;
(3) "DMV" means the Department of Motor Vehicles;
(4) "Motor vehicle" or "vehicle" means a motor vehicle as defined in section 14-1 of the
general statutes;
(5) "VIN" means the motor vehicle identification number.
