Definitions

As used in sections 14-137-123 and 14-137-124 of the Regulations of Connecticut State
Agencies:
(1) "Fifth wheel" shall have the same meaning as provided in 49 CFR 393.5;
(2) "Trailer" includes camp trailers, commercial trailers, pole trailers, semitrailers,
utility trailers, and all trailers as each is defined in section 14-1 of the Connecticut
General Statutes; and
(3) "Trailer hitch or coupling" means the device that is used to securely attach the trailer
to the towing vehicle.
