(a) The Amistad commemorative number plate shall be of a design to enhance public awareness of the 1839 uprising against the crew of the Spanish slave schooner, The Amistad. (b) The Amistad commemorative number plate shall be of a design determined by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles.
