(a) Where an extra lane has been provided on an upgrade for slow-moving traffic, it should be preceded by a sign directing such traffic into this "climbing" lane. The slower traffic keep right sign is applicable for this purpose, or more specific messages such as trucks use right lane and/or slow vehicles keep right may be used. (b) The standard, and minimum, size of these signs shall be 24 inches by 30 inches.
