Cite as Conn. Agencies Regs. § 14-298-721
(a) Signal instruction signs used with traffic signals may be located adjacent to the
signal face to which they apply.
(b) Stop signs shall not be used in conjunction with any signal operation except:
(1) when the indication flashes red at all times or
(2) when a minor street or driveway is located within or adjacent to the controlled area
of an extreme complex signalized intersection, but does not warrant separate signal
control.
(c) When used in conjunction with traffic signals, illuminated signs shall be designed
and mounted in such a manner as to avoid glare and reflections that seriously detract
from the signal indications.
