(a) Pedestrian signal faces shall be mounted with the bottom of the housing not less than eight feet nor more than ten feet above the sidewalk level, and so there is a pedestrian indication in the line of pedestrian's vision which pertains to the crosswalk being used. (b) The don't walk indication shall be mounted directly above or integral with the walk indication. (c) The pedestrian signal head shall be so positioned and adjusted as to provide maximum visibility at the beginning of the controlled crossing. (d) When mounted with other signal heads there shall be a physical separation between the two heads.
