Security interest unperfected before October 1, 2001.

(1) Remains an enforceable security interest for one year after October 1, 2001; (2) Remains enforceable thereafter if the security interest becomes enforceable under section 42a-9-203 on October 1, 2001, or within one year thereafter; and (3) Becomes perfected: (A) Without further action, on October 1, 2001, if the applicable requirements for perfection under public act 01-132* are satisfied before or at that time; or (B) When the applicable requirements for perfection are satisfied if the requirements are satisfied after that time. *Note: Public act 01-132 is entitled “An Act Adopting Revised Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code Concerning Secured Transactions”. (See Reference Table captioned “Public Acts of 2001” in Volume 16 which lists the sections amended, created or repealed by the act.)
