Sec. 10-283b. School building projects for the Technical Education and Career System.

(b) The Department of Administrative Services shall ensure that an architect and a construction manager or construction administrator hired to work on a project pursuant to subsection (a) of this section are not related persons as defined in subdivision (18) of subsection (a) of section 12-218b . (c) Not later than January 1, 2023, and biennially thereafter, the Department of Administrative Services shall develop a status report on all current and pending school building projects for the Technical Education and Career System. Such status report shall include, but need not be limited to, the costs associated with each such school building project for the Technical Education and Career System, the anticipated date of the next project application per technical education and career school, and the projected date of commencement of pending school building projects and the date of completion of current school building projects for the Technical Education and Career System. The department shall submit such status report to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to education, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a .
