Compensation for destroyed property.

(b) The Commissioner of Agriculture shall adopt regulations in accordance with chapter 54 establishing procedures for determining the value of property destroyed pursuant to section 22-324 . Such procedures shall include provisions for arbitration and appraisal by two appraisers, one chosen by the commissioner and one chosen by the owner. (c) Any funds appropriated to the Department of Agriculture for the payment of compensation pursuant to this section shall not be expended for any other purpose.
