NOTICE TO: ALL INSURERS AND PREMIUM FINANCE COMPANIES LICENSED AND OPERATING IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA FROM: KARIMA WOODS, COMMISSIONER DATE: APRIL 27, 2022 RE: EXPIRATION OF MAYOR’S ORDERS DECLARING AND EXTENDING PUBLIC EMERGENCY The purpose of this Notice is to inform all insurers and premium finance companies licensed and operating in the District of Columbia that the public emergency first declared by Mayor's Order 2020-045 (dated March 11, 2020) and extended by Mayor's Order 2022-043 (dated March 17, 2022) through April 16, 2022 has lapsed. As a corollary, all Commissioner’s Orders and Bulletins predicated on the existence of a public emergency or public health emergency declared by the Mayor and issued in response to the COVID-19 pandemic have also lapsed. The Commissioner’s Orders and Bulletins issued in response to the COVID-19 pandemic can be found on the Department’s website at: disb.dc.gov/service/covid-19-resources.
