8299 DEFINITIONS 8299.1 When used in this chapter, the following terms and phrases shall have the meanings ascribed: Classification seniority - the length of time an employee has worked continuously in a specific job classification within a department. Seniority - the length of time an employee has been continuously employed in any capacity in the D.C.
