2401 DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, AND INSTALLATION ─ APPROVED SYSTEM AND CLEANABLE FIXTURES 2401.1 A plumbing system shall be designed, constructed, and installed according to the D.C. Plumbing Code (2008) incorporating the International Plumbing Code 2006, as amended by the D.C. Plumbing Code Supplement (Subtitle F of 12 DCMR). P 2401.2 A plumbing fixture such as a handwashing sink, toilet, or urinal shall be easily cleanable.
