2399. DEFINITIONS

2399 DEFINITIONS 2399.1 When used in this chapter, the following terms and phrases shall have the meanings ascribed: Date of contract – the date on which the contract is signed by the contracting officer. Director – the Director of the Office of Contracting and Procurement or the District of Columbia Chief Procurement Officer. Stop-work order – a written document issued by the contracting officer advising a contractor to cease work.
