5208. INTENSIVE DAY TREATMENT

5208 INTENSIVE DAY TREATMENT 5208.1 Intensive Day Treatment (“IDT”) services and interventions consist of structured individual and group activities and therapies that are planned, goal-oriented, and provided under active psychiatric supervision. 5208.2 IDT shall: Be billed in one (1) day units pursuant to criteria set forth in Chapter 34 of Title 22-A DCMR; Require prior authorization; Not be billed while a consumer is enrolled in ACT, unless otherwise authorized; Not be billed on the same day as Medication Management, Counseling/Therapy, Rehabilitation Day Services, CBI, FFT, MST, TF-CBT, Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Services, or TST. While a consumer is enrolled in IDT, Clubhouse shall not be billed; Be provided in a DBH-certified MHRS provider’s service site by Psychiatrists, Psychologists, LICSWs, APRNs, LISWs, LPCs, RNs, LMFTs, LGSWs, LGPCs, Psychology Associates, Physician Assistants, and credentialed staff under the supervision of a qualified practitioner licensed to practice independently. 5208.3 IDT providers shall not bill for Clinical Care Coordination (“CCC”) for a consumer on the same day as a consumer’s IDT encounter; Intensive Day Treatment shall be delivered in accordance with the requirements set forth in Chapter 34 of Title 22-A DCMR.
