57A99 DEFINITIONS When used in this chapter, the following terms and phrases shall have the following meanings: Immigrant child- Any child who is ineligible for Medicaid by virtue of the child's immigration status. Medical Assistance- Health care services provided by a health maintenance organization (HMO) in accordance with the terms of a contract between the District government and the HMO to provide managed care health services on a capitated basis.
