2111. COMPUTATION OF TIME

2111 COMPUTATION OF TIME 2111.1 An applicable time period measured in days under this chapter shall be calculated using the computation of time rules prescribed by Chapter 7, if any, and, if none, then in calculating such period: (a) The day of the act, event, or default from which the period begins to run shall not be included; (b) The last day of the period shall be included; (c) Unless otherwise specified, any reference to “days” means calendar days including holidays and weekends; and (d) When the last day is a Saturday or a Sunday, or a national or District holiday, the period shall run until the close of business of the following business day.
