517. LIABILITY FOR CONDUCT OF ASSOCIATED PERSONS

517 LIABILITY FOR CONDUCT OF ASSOCIATED PERSONS 517.1 For purposes of enforcement of and compliance with this title, each taxicab company and association shall be responsible for the conduct of its employees, contractors, agents, associated operators (where applicable), and associated owners (where applicable). The conduct for which each taxicab company and association shall be responsible includes ensuring that taxicabs are operated: (a) With the licenses required by this title and other applicable law; (b) With the insurance required by this title and other applicable law; In a safe and lawful manner; and By an operator who is not impaired by lawful or unlawful intoxicants.
