300. ADVISORY OPINIONS

300 ADVISORY OPINIONS 300.1 In accordance with the provisions of this chapter, any person or entity eligible under § 300.2 may request an advisory opinion from the Board, with respect to any specific transaction or activity, as to whether the transaction or activity would constitute a violation of any provision of the Election Act. 300.2 Any of the following shall be eligible to request an advisory opinion of the Board: (a) An elected official or a candidate to be an elected official; (b) Any person or entity required to or who reasonably anticipates being required to submit filings to the Board under the Election Act in connection with any election; or (c) Any other person or entity under the jurisdiction of the Board.
