412. STATUS CONFERENCE

412 STATUS CONFERENCE 412.1 Within fifteen (15) calendar days of the assignment of the case to a hearing examiner, the hearing examiner shall schedule a status conference designed to accomplish the following objectives: (a) To determine who is representing the parties in the case; (b) To establish deadlines for conducting discovery in the case; (c) To schedule a pre-hearing conference and a hearing in the case; and (d) To schedule further status conferences as may be required. 412.2 The hearing examiner shall give the parties written notice of the status conference. The notice shall include the following: (a) Notice of the sanctions applicable in the event of a partyโ€™s failure to appear or comply with the instructions of the notice; and (b) Instructions to the parties regarding the conditions and procedure for requesting continuances.
