807 BACKGROUND CHECKS 807.1 If an entity covered under the Act learns through a background check or other means that a person is transgender, the entity shall not, without more, take an adverse action against the individual on the basis of the learned information and shall take reasonable measures to preserve the confidentiality of that information.
