3611 FACTORS FOR CONSIDERATION IN THE DISPOSITION OF CLOSED BUILDINGS 3611.1 In making its determination of the disposition of a closed building, the Board of Education shall take into consideration the following factors: (a) The suitability and need for the land that the building occupies for playground space, athletic field, construction of new facilities, parking for school system employees, or other educational purpose; (b) The suitability and need for the building to house alternative, non-public school educational programs; (c) The suitability and need for the building to house public school programs or offices located in space that is leased or on loan to the Board of Education; (d) The potential need for the building to house future public school educational programs; and (e) The potential income or other benefit to the Board of Education through the sale or lease of the building.
