3801. STATE EDUCATION AGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES

3801 STATE EDUCATION AGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES 3801.1 The Board of Education’s State Education Agency responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to: (a) Acquisition and administration of federal grants on behalf of funding or services for all eligible local education agencies in the District of Columbia, including public, public charter and private schools. (b) Ensuring that all local education agencies in the District of Columbia are in compliance with the provisions of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
