3124. DISPOSITION OF FOLDERS OF FORMER EMPLOYEES

3124 DISPOSITION OF FOLDERS OF FORMER EMPLOYEES 3124.1 The Official Personnel Folders of temporary employees who are typically re-employed after a period of seasonal separation may be retained indefinitely by the employing authority. 3124.2 Folders of persons separated from employment may be retained by the losing Independent Personnel Authority for thirty (30) days after the separation, and may be retained for an additional sixty (60) days or until all required records have been procured and included in the Folder. 3124.3 Inactive personnel folders shall be transferred to the General Services Administration, National Personnel Records Center (civilian), 111 Winnebago Street, Saint Louis, Missouri 63118, or such other repository as may be designated by the D.C.
