209 COURT 209.1 Courts are not required; however, where a court is provided, the court shall have the following minimum dimensions: TABLE F § 209.1: MINIMUM COURT DIMENSIONS Type of Structure Open Court Minimum Width Closed Court Minimum Width Minimum Area Residential, 3 units or more 4 in. per 1 ft. of height of court but not less than 10 ft. 4 in. per 1 ft. of height of court but not less than 15 ft. Twice the square of the required width of court dimension based on the height of the minimum court width; but not less than 350 sq. ft. All Other Structures 2.5 in. per 1 ft. of height of court but not less than 6 ft. 2.5 in. per 1 ft. of height of court but not less than 12 ft. Twice the square of the required width of court dimension based on the height of the minimum court width; but not less than 250 sq. ft.
