1003 GENERAL MEANS OF EGRESS Insert a new Exception 9 to Section 1003.2 of the International Building Code to read as follows: Exceptions: 9. The exit discharge and exit passageways in a means of egress system shall be allowed to have a ceiling height of not less than 7 feet (2134 mm).
