2501. GENERAL

P2501 GENERAL P2501.1 General. The provisions of Chapter 1 of the Building Code, Title 12-A DCMR shall establish the general administrative requirements applicable to plumbing systems and inspection requirements of the Residential Code. The administrative provisions of Chapter 1 of the Building Code, Title 12-A DCMR, shall also apply to the plumbing requirements of Chapters 25 through 32. The District of Columbia Residential Code (2017), referred to as the “Residential Code,” consists of the 2015 edition of the International Residential Code (International Residential Code), published by the International Code Council (ICC), as amended by the Residential Code Supplement of 2017 (12-B DCMR).
