101. GENERAL

101 GENERAL 101.1 Scope and intent. Scope and intent of the Mechanical Code shall be governed by Chapter 1 of the Building Code, Title 12-A DCMR. 101.2 Administration and enforcement. Administration and enforcement of the Mechanical Code shall be governed by Chapter 1 of the Building Code in Title 12-A DCMR. The District of Columbia Mechanical Code (2017), referred to as the “Mechanical Code,” consists of the 2015 edition of the International Mechanical Code (International Mechanical Code), published by the International Code Council (ICC), as amended by the Mechanical Code Supplement of 2017 (12-E DCMR).
