2204. COAL DEALERS' AGENTS

2204 COAL DEALERS' AGENTS 2204.1 Each person selling coal as an agent shall secure a license for each year or part of a year. 2204.2 No license shall be issued to any person to sell coal as an agent except as the agent of a licensed coal dealer. 2204.3 Each application shall contain the following information: (a) The name and address of applicant; (b) The name and address of dealer for whom the applicant will sell coal, with the number of that dealer's license; (c) The length of time applicant has been selling coal, if any; (d) The names and addresses of employers for the past five (5) years; (e) Crimes of which the applicant has been convicted, if any; (f) Whether the applicant has ever secured a license from any other District department and which department; (g) The names and addresses of at least three (3) references; (h) A statement from the dealer setting forth that the applicant is the dealer's authorized agent; and (i) Any other information required by the Mayor. 2204.4 Each application for a license as agent to sell coal shall be made on a form prescribed by the Mayor. 2204.5 Each application shall be sworn to before an officer authorized to administer oaths.
