2411. REFUSAL OF REQUESTS TO USE SYSTEM

2411 REFUSAL OF REQUESTS TO USE SYSTEM 2411.1 An electronic notary may refuse to perform a notarial act for the reasons listed in Section 8 of the Act (D.C. Official Code 1-1231.07) and Section 2421 of this chapter, and shall also refuse a request to: Use a tamper-evident technology that the electronic notary does not know how to operate; or (b) Perform an electronic notarial act if the electronic notary has a reasonable belief that a tamper-evident technology does not meet the requirements set forth in these rules.
