6302. EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

6302 EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS 6302.1 Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, an applicant for a license to practice occupational therapy shall furnish proof satisfactory to the Board, in accordance with ยง 504(g)(1) of the Act, D.C. Official Code ยง 3-1205.04(g)(1), that the applicant has done the following: (a) Successfully completed an educational program for occupational therapists that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE); and (b) Successfully completed a period of supervised fieldwork experience required by the recognized educational institution where the applicant fulfilled his or her academic requirements.
