9304. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS; APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATION

9304 CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS; APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATION 9304.1 A person applying for certification as a home health aide shall: Be at least eighteen (18) years of age; Either: Be licensed as a District of Columbia registered nurse or practical registered nurse; or (2) Submit evidence of having successfully completed a Board approved certification examination; (c) Meet the requirements of ยง 9303; and (d) Submit a completed application and application fee. 9304.2 An application that remains incomplete for ninety (90) days or more from the date of submission shall be considered abandoned and closed by the Board. The applicant shall thereafter be required to reapply, comply with the current requirements for certification, and pay the required fees.
