9307. RENEWAL OF CERTIFICATION

9307 RENEWAL OF CERTIFICATION 9307.1 An applicant for renewal shall have: Completed at least twelve (12) hours of continuing education or in-service each year for a total of twenty-four (24) hours each renewal period, including a minimum of three (3) hours of in-service or continuing education on HIV/AIDS, two (2) hours of continuing education in cultural competency or specialized clinical training on clients who identify as LGBTQ, or any Board mandated topics. Training shall be in the area of health or nursing needs of assigned patient population; Provided evidence of the performance of a minimum of eight (8) hours of nursing related services for compensation during the prior twenty four (24) months; and (c) Completed a criminal background check (CBC) as required.
